Litmus Computer Academy, Ughelli in Ughelli North L.G.A of Delta State , Nigeria came into existence in January, 1995 as a computer training division of Litmus Computer System Ltd.-a private limited liability Company which was incorporated at the Corporate Affairs Commission Abuja, Nigeria under the Companies and Allied Matters Act, of 1990.

OUR MISSION: Amongst other objectives, the company is authorized to offer computer information technology, computer Engineering services, Computer sales, leasing, and Installations including the training, recruitment and development of manpower for the computer based industries and Institutions in Nigeria .

AFFILIATION: Litmus Computer Academy , Ughelli is affiliated to the Computer Consultancy Department of the Delta State University Abraka since March 17,1997, to train students and present them for the University’s Consultancy Computer Examination for the award of Executive and Proficiency Diplomas in Computer Operations.
Since then Litmus Computer Academy has trained over 3000 Computer professionals who have been their awarded of their diplomas in computer operations by the Delta State University, Abraka.

BENEFITS OF OUR TRAINING PROGRAMS
It should be noted that several of these computer professionals are either currently working in banks, multi-national oil companies / industries , Civil Service/ Government establishments or undergoing various higher diploma/degree courses in the tertiary institutions. We are happy to further place on records that most of the professionals have set up their own computer business/ training centers to offer services and employment opportunities to others.

INTERNET SERVICES:
In order to further widen the scope of our training programs to meet up with the ever changing trends in the computer world, we have established a Cybercafé which serves both as browsing/research centre to the general public and an internet training outfit within the Academy.

INTENSIVE TRAINING COURSES:
Though our affiliated courses with Delta State University Abraka run for between three and six months respectively, we have in line with new installed modern training facilities, introduced short term courses for candidates who wish to urgently and effectively acquire the computer knowledge to enable them either attend an employment or embassy visa interview or meet up with employers’ minimum computer literacy (knowledge) requirement for promotion in the workers’ place of work, Such courses are handled by fulltime lecturers and instructors in our intensive (crash) training unit.
